NORticats is a Scandinavian TICA club
This club welcomes all cats and people. Both household pets and pure bred cats are most welcome as members and to attend our shows. TICA is the only organisation where householdpets gets titles on the same level as cat breeeds.
You don't have to be a member of TICA to become a member of NORticats. We welcome everyone. This means you could be a member of our club and a FIFe or IDP club without ending up in conflict with any rules that the FIFe club or the IDP club might have However you may not serve on the board without being a member of TICA.
NORticats is a TICA chartered club and we will be happy to help you with registering of kittens and cats and other practical issues. But the registration itself have to be carried out by TICA in the USA.
You are welcome on TICA shows without being a member of TICA, and you won't need any show license. Your cat doesn't have to be registered in TICA in order to attend TICA shows, but if you'd like to use the won points towards a TICA title you will have to register your cat within the 2nd TICA show the cat enters
PURPOSES The purpose of this club shall be: i. To promote the welfare of all breeds of cats, including household pets. ii. To encourage breeding programs which prioritise health and welfare of the cats. iii. To sponsor cat shows and promote the interest in and knowledge of all domestic, cats. iv. To encourage the spaying and neutering of any and all cats not specifically being used as part of a viable breeding program. v. To help promote TICA in Scandinavia, in particular in Norway and encourage the registration of cats within TICA. |
