Kimburu is a cat friendly cattery of Bengals and Sokokes

Cat breeding is far from a buisniss to me,

and far more than a hobby -

It's a Passion !

I breed Bengals and Sokokes of high quality and superb temperaments

I put a lot of time and effort in producing well socialised and healthy kittens with wonderful temperaments. All my cats are first of all pets, then breeding cats and show cats. My breeding cats are from top breeding lines or are otherwise very important to the breed genetic makeup, they are all chosen for their good qualities. You have to put in a lot of time, energy and knowledge to get some of the best cats, and it's not done overnight. All the hard work is well worth the investment when you after some time start to see the good results.

Kimburu is a harmonic breeding where the cats health, comfort and thriving are of the highest priority. The cats I have must at all times be able to coexcist in a harmonic way to ensure their well beeing. Because of this I will have to re-home every cat that makes big distrubances or will not coexcist happily in a larger cat group. It is very important for the cats' happiness and health to live a harmonic life.

My cats are only fed high quality food with some snacks from time to time. The snacks themselves are maybe not of such a high quality, but tasty and very much appreciated by the cats.

An important part of the cats' health and happiness is a good veterinary. I have found a wonderful, understanding veterinary about half an hour drive from home. A veterinary who is interessted in cats, new methods, new knowledge and has a lot of knowledge and keeps updating on new information that becomes available.

In March 2005 I bought a house, and the plans for a very nice cat room and HUGE runs for the cats are here, but it will take some times before it is all ready for the cats' to use and enjoy. A lot of things are needed to be done with the house, both inside and outside. Even though they'll have their own room, they will still roam around my entire house as well.

My cats' seems to like their new home, and it will only get better!

My, and the cats', new home address is;
